Compliance training
Compliance training you can show was done
Mandatory training, policy acknowledgements, certificates and renewals, all recorded, all reportable, and all in one place when someone asks for proof.
The hard part of compliance training is the record
Delivering a course is the easy part. The hard part is being able to show, months or years later, that a particular person completed a particular course on a particular date, passed the test, and renewed it on time. OurTrainingRoom is built to keep that record for you.
What gets recorded
- Each course a person was assigned, when they started and when they completed it.
- Exam scores, and the certificate issued when they passed.
- When each certificate expires, and whether it was renewed.
- Each bulletin or policy sent to them, and whether they acknowledged it.
- Classroom and other events they were registered for.
Valid certificates from earlier years stay on the record, and reports can include historical valid certificates, so history is not lost when training is renewed.
Policies that must be read
A bulletin appears in front of an employee as soon as they sign in. To clear it, they tick a box confirming they have read and understood the material. The box only becomes available after they have scrolled through the whole document. Some bulletins can end with a few quiz questions instead. Each bulletin shows as incomplete or complete on the person's record.
Tests with rules
Courses can end with a final exam of multiple choice and true or false questions. In the standard setup, a learner who does not pass reviews the answers and gets a second attempt, and a second miss resets the course so they go through the material again. A certificate is issued the moment they pass.
Final Exam – Fire Extinguisher
Read each question carefully. There is only one correct answer for each question. If you pass, you can print a certificate immediately.
Renewals that do not slip
When training has to be renewed, the course comes back onto the learner's agenda, marked as due. With reminders turned on, employees are emailed before their training expires. Administrators can report on certificates expiring today, this month, or within 30, 60 or 90 days.
Reports when you are asked
Filter by complete or incomplete, active or inactive staff, supervisor, course, department or group, completion date and expiry date. Save the reports you use often and subscribe to them. More about records and reporting.
OurTrainingRoom records and reports on the training you deliver. Which training your organization is required to provide, and how often, depends on your sector, province and regulator.
